Dark Teak composite fencing for your garden

Create a warm, wood-grain garden boundary with horizontal composite slats and a matching Dark Teak post sleeve. This low-maintenance fencing set combines wood plastic composite with a galvanised steel internal post.

This is a panel set, not an individual fence board. Each set includes 11 horizontal slats and one post assembly. An additional end post set is required to close the final end of your fence run and is sold separately.

Panel width and installed bay coverage are different measurements. Confirm the installed layout and post spacing before ordering or positioning posts.

Planning your fence run

Order one panel set per bay in a continuous run. Each set supplies one post assembly; order one additional end post set to finish the final end of the run. A standalone bay therefore needs one panel set and one additional end post set.

Images show the finished fencing with posts at both ends. Only one post assembly is included with each panel set.

Installation

For in-ground installation, embed the galvanised steel post 60 cm below ground level and set it in concrete, following the supplier's foundation and installation instructions. The Dark Teak composite sleeve fits over the steel post, and its channels hold the fence slats in place.

For bolt-down installation, use the four included expansion screws to secure the post to a suitable concrete base, following the supplier's installation instructions. Confirm that your base and fixings are suitable for the installation. Do not assume that paving slabs alone provide a suitable structural base.

Common buying questions

Is this real teak?

No. Dark Teak is the colour and wood-grain finish of the composite material, not solid teak timber.

Does the set include a post?

Yes. It includes one matching composite sleeve, one galvanised steel internal post, matching post caps and four expansion screws.

Do I need an extra post?

Yes. One additional end post set is required to close the final end of a continuous fence run.

Can I check the colour before ordering?

A Dark Teak composite fencing colour sample is available separately.
